Job Summary
Leidos is seeking a sharp, driven Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Nellis AFB, NV - the epicenter of world‑class combat training. This is your chance to work at the cutting edge of ISR testing, tactics development, and training integration for U.S. Air Force, Joint, and Coalition warfighters.
This role is built for someone who thrives on challenge. You'll exploit NOS, airborne, commercial, and FMV imagery; test emerging technologies; and craft synthetic/simulated GEOINT products that directly shape how commanders train and fight. If you want impact, this is it.
Primary Responsibilities
- Produce crisp, high‑value imagery analysis and intelligence reporting that fuses multi‑source data into complete, actionable products.
- Partner directly with operators, analysts, and mission customers to build IMINT products supporting high‑fidelity combat scenarios - including integrated live, virtual, and constructive environments.
- Develop geospatial products that drive training objectives, exercise realism, and operational assessments.
- Work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with teams immersed in composite force exercises spanning the full spectrum of tactical employment.
- Support occasional shift work during major exercises to keep mission tempo at full throttle.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS + 4 years of experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong understanding of imagery and intelligence collection processes
- Hands‑on experience with NOS, airborne imagery, and FMV
- Familiarity with precise positioning tools and ELT functionality
- Solid knowledge of intelligence organizations, systems, and analytic methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver polished products under pressure
- Proven ability to excel independently and as part of a fast‑moving, mission‑focused team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience collaborating across the U.S. Intelligence Community and U.S. Air Force
- Familiarity with Nellis AFB exercise operations (RED FLAG, WSI, etc.)
- Experience with RemoteView, other ELTs, iSpy, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools
- Proficiency with research databases such as MIDB/NPW, Cedalion, and NGA Softcopy Keys
