We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. The System Administrator will be responsible for the overall maintenance and management of our company's computer systems, networks, and software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software applications

- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues

- Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime and availability

- Perform regular backups and implement disaster recovery plans

- Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for system upgrades

- Collaborate with IT team members to identify and implement process improvements

- Provide technical support and training to end users

- Document system configurations and procedures

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V

- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems is a plus
