Overview
The Systems Administrator will play an important role in maintaining and modernizing the County's enterprise technology infrastructure. This hands-on position will support servers, networks, communications systems, security, backups, and related infrastructure while working closely with IT teams and business partners.
A major upcoming initiative is replacing the County's network access and wireless infrastructure. The selected technology vendor is Juniper Networks, with the implementation centered on Juniper Mist. The Systems Administrator will contribute to planning, deployment, configuration, migration, troubleshooting, and ongoing administration of this next-generation network environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with enterprise networking technologies, participating in large-scale infrastructure projects, solving complex technical problems, and helping modernize technology services. The role combines project work, hands-on infrastructure support, system administration, and ongoing operational responsibilities in a collaborative IT environment.
