Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing L2 desktop support, troubleshooting end-user hardware, software, and operating system issues across Windows, MacOS, and iOS environments to ensure seamless user productivity.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $51/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

System Administrator Job Responsibilities include:

• Provide Level 2 desktop and workstation support for Windows 10/11, Mac OS, and iOS environments, ensuring timely resolution of end-user technical issues.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, VPN, Microsoft Office, antivirus, and operating system-related incidents through remote support tools and desktop management platforms.

• Support device enrollment, configuration, and management using JAMF, Intune, and Autopilot while maintaining compliance with enterprise security standards.

• Deploy and monitor Windows patches, device drivers, BIOS updates, and workstation images to ensure system stability and security compliance.

• Investigate and resolve workstation performance issues, group policy conflicts, encryption problems, and software configuration failures.

• Manage and track incidents through ServiceNow, perform root cause analysis, escalate complex issues when necessary, and provide reporting on user experience, patch compliance, and device health metrics.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

• 4-6 years of experience in Desktop Support, End-User Computing, IT Operations, or Workstation Administration within enterprise environments.

• Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows 10/11, Mac OS, and Apple iOS devices, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, device management, and remote desktop support.

• Proficiency with ServiceNow, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, JAMF, patch management, workstation imaging, security compliance monitoring, and enterprise endpoint support processes.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $51.00 per hour
