System Administrator

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Red Hat System Administrator in Littleton, CO for a 6-month contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will maintain and optimize Linux-based infrastructure, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and Red Hat OpenShift clusters. The role will support mission-critical applications through system administration, troubleshooting, security, patching, upgrades, scripting, networking, and documentation.

Required Skills

• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
• Demonstrated expertise administering Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
• Experience provisioning VM and containerized workloads.
• Experience managing OpenShift operators.
• Experience overseeing security, patching, and upgrade cycles.
• Strong scripting abilities.
• Solid networking knowledge.
• Meticulous documentation practices.
• Ability to maintain high availability for mission-critical applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing storage, specifically NFS solutions on NetApp platforms.
