    Description

    System Administrator (Mid-Senior Level)

    Full-Time | On-Site | TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph Required

    We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with at least 10 years of systems administration experience and a technical bachelor’s degree to support operations in Annapolis Junction, MD.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the troubleshooting, maintenance, and administration of endpoint management systems
    • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 Help Desk support to end users and internal stakeholders
    • Deliver timely escalation updates and communicate issue status to leadership and customers
    • Support dispatch and ticketing systems by identifying, tracking, and resolving hardware and system-related issues
    • Ensure configuration management practices and compliance with applicable security controls and system requirements
    • Provide operational support for IT systems, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of client/server environments, storage systems, network devices, and mobile platforms
    • Implement required security patches, vulnerability remediations, and compliance updates while documenting status in designated tracking systems
    • Participate in escalation and incident response processes, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution
    • Configure, administer, and maintain UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems
    • Install, update, and patch operating system software to maintain system security and performance
    • Troubleshoot network components and resolve connectivity, reliability, and performance issues
    • Implement system enhancements and optimizations to improve reliability, efficiency, and operational performance
    • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and issue resolution activities

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10 years of systems administration experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (additional experience may be substituted where applicable)
    • IAT Level II certification or equivalent certification meeting federal cybersecurity requirements
    • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph
