Our client is looking for experienced System Administrators to support the State of New York's Department of Social Services (DSS) in various critical IT initiatives.
The ideal candidates will have 4+ years of expertise in core networking technologies, including routing, firewall management, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
Additionally, 4+ years of experience with VoIP technologies and wireless systems, with a proven track record of deploying VoIP solutions in large-scale environments.
A strong background in testing methodologies and result analysis using automated and custom tools to assess network and security infrastructure is also required.
Required Skills:
Minimum 4 Years of core competencies in routing, firewall, Intrusion detection system (IDS), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies.
Minimum 4 Years of experience with VoIP technologies and wireless systems, with a strong background in VoIP technology deployment in large environments.
Minimum 4 Years of experience with testing methods and analysis of results using automated tools or custom tools to evaluate network and security infrastructure.
Minimum 4 Years of experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of network outages and slowdowns.
Minimum 4 Years of expertise communicating effectively, on both a technical and non-technical level, with appropriate Agency staff at all levels, as well as with vendors.
Minimum 4 Years of expertise in handling multiple projects and deadlines.
