    Description

    Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
    Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (Required)
    Salary Range: $150,000 - $168,000

    Position Overview

    Staffed4U is recruiting for an experienced System Administrator Level 2 to support a mission-critical program in a fast-paced, highly secure environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background administering enterprise IT environments and experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure, DevOps practices, and AWS technologies. This role is responsible for maintaining system availability, troubleshooting complex issues, implementing system enhancements, and ensuring the reliability and security of mission systems.

    Required Qualifications

    Experience

    • Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
    • Five (5) additional years of System Administrator experience may be substituted for the required bachelor's degree.

    Required Skills

    • Experience administering Linux and/or Windows enterprise environments
    • Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools
    • Experience supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments
    • Strong troubleshooting and systems administration skills
    • Experience supporting secure enterprise environments
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams

    Responsibilities

    • Install, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise systems and infrastructure.
    • Manage operating systems, servers, applications, and system services.
    • Support AWS cloud infrastructure and assist with cloud-based deployments.
    • Utilize DevOps tools and practices to improve system reliability and deployment efficiency.
    • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues.
    • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and operating system problems.
    • Perform system upgrades, patches, backups, and maintenance activities.
    • Implement security best practices and maintain compliance with customer requirements.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
    • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and cybersecurity teams to support mission objectives.

    Salary Range:$150,000 - $168,000

Final compensation decisions are made after a comprehensive review of each candidate's background and the responsibilities of the role.
