POSITION SUMMARY
The System Administrator will be responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and support for Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) enterprise systems. This individual will serve as the technical expert in system administration for server operating systems and will provide the highest level of server performance tuning and recovery procedures. Responsibilities include management of physical and virtual servers including building and specifying new servers as well as installing operating systems and applying patches and upgrades regularly. Daily tasks include monitoring, verifying integrity and availability of hardware, systems, processes, logs, backups and more. This individual should maintain current knowledge of technological developments in systems administration technology. As part of IT support, the system administrator will be responsible for the configuration management and auditing of end-user devices while also providing helpdesk support when needed. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, motivation to find solutions, and quality end-user experiences is essential. The System Administrator position is a hybrid position, with significant in-person work at TCRHCC. While not on site you will be responsible for working from your home office.As a remote worker, you will need to be independent and self-motivated, holding yourself accountable for tasks and ongoing responsibilities with little supervision.SA’s providing technical support, maintenance, assistance with organization initiatives.

Physical:
Must be able to sit at desk for long periods of time and occasionally stand, walk, drive, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, twist, maintain balance and reach. Must write legibly and use a computer terminal; must be able to hear and talk over the telephone and in person with others; must be able to frequently lift, push and pull items that weigh up to 34lbs and occasionally lift over 100 lbs. such as IT sever hardware, backup batteries, computer terminals, and printers. Sensory requirements include occasional far vision, near vision, color vision, depth perception, seeing fine details, hearing normal speech, hearing overhead pages, and telephone use. Must have ability of both hand manipulation of prolonged simple grasping, frequent firm grasping and occasional fine manipulation.

Must be able to coordinate a variety of issues while being frequently interrupted and carry out all responsibilities related to this position.
