System Design Engineer

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a System Design Engineer for our client in the Nuclear Industry!

Design of nuclear and industrial systems from requirements through final design.

Provide oversight to vendors developing mechanical system and component designs for the Natrium reactor.

Coordinate the review of analyses, such as thermal, seismic, structural, pipe stress, heat transfer, and other analyses performed by others and integrate the results into plant design delivery.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline from an accredited university and 4+ years direct experience with proven mechanical or chemical systems skills.

Experience in high temperature and multi-discipline integration highly desired

Experience with nuclear chemical process systems, fluid systems or fluid system component design a plus.

Strong mechanical and/or chemical aptitude with demonstrated experience in chemistry, fluid and structural analysis, tolerance analysis, and the ability to read engineering drawings.
