VTG is looking for a System Engineer in Chantilly, VA. (Note: Contingent upon program award).
System Engineer I supports systems engineering activities under the direction of senior engineers and the Task Order PM. Assists with requirements support, documentation, traceability, and engineering analyses to help the team deliver compliant, testable, and supportable solutions aligned to Government mission needs.
Engineer II performs systems engineering tasks with limited supervision, translating mission needs into system requirements and engineering products. Coordinates across stakeholders to maintain technical alignment, supports design trade studies, and ensures requirements are verifiable and traceable through implementation and test.
Engineer III provides senior technical leadership for systems engineering across the program, serving as the technical integrator to ensure solutions are coherent, compliant, testable, and aligned to Government mission outcomes. Leads requirements strategy, architecture development, and cross-team integration, and advises the PM on technical risks, tradeoffs, and execution priorities.

Lead/support requirements development, decomposition, and management; maintain end-to-end traceability from mission needs through verification.
Develop and maintain systems engineering artifacts (e.g., system specs, interface documentation, architecture views, technical baselines).
Support integration planning and coordination across engineering disciplines (software, network, cyber, cloud, test).
Contribute to technical reviews (SRR/PDR/CDR or equivalent), including preparing materials and closing review actions.
Support verification planning and test readiness activities; ensure requirements are measurable and testable.
Identify technical risks/issues and propose mitigations; support configuration and change control processes.
