We are looking for a talented and passionate Service Now Developer who would support one of our clients located in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.
CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION.
Job Description:We have an immediate need for an experienced ServiceNow developer, who can lead a 2 – 3 person team.
- Gather and document requirements/specifications from teams
- Create custom workflows
- Build service requests to meet requirements
- Generate views and reports as needed
- Perform integrations and process automation using ServiceNow orchestration
- Perform system integration and 508 compliance testing
- Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application
- Assess existing ServiceNow usage and recommend forward evolution to maximize efficiencies
Required Skills:
- Linux / Unix System Administration
- Development experience using Javascript or other high level languages
- Familiarity with web based user interfaces (HTML, XML, CSS)
- Minimum 2 yrs experience as ServiceNow developer
- Experience creating/maintaining technical documentation
- Experience leading a team and interfacing with internal teams
Desired Skills:
- Experience managing a self-hosted ServiceNow instance to include performing required upgrades to the ServiceNow core applications
- Java development
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology
- Experience gathering requirements
- Experience prioritizing workload
- ServiceNow certification a plus (Administrator, Developer)
Salary: $119k - $247k depending on experience and contract.

Qualifications:
Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level II (CAP or CASP+ CE or CISM or CISSP (or Associate) or GSLC or CCISO or HCISPP)
