    Description

    System Integration Engineer 1 - (Linux, Windows, Docker)

    Clearance: TS/SCI - Polygraph required
    Position ID: 11-8854-SIE1
    Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland

    Description:

    Perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, testing, integration, and configuration of Linux and Windows platforms

    Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating system and software applications

    Maintain and develop the environment for hardware and software systems builds, staging, testing, and integration

    Perform system, sub-system, and equipment racking, stacking, testing, and software integration at field sites and local lab environments

    Prepare and update technical documentation for system and software installations, sustainment, upgrades, and troubleshooting

    Provide Tier 3 support for system failures and degradation problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems

    Provide technical support to software development and integration efforts in the lab and during field installations

    Create system-specific software baselines and related configuration files in preparation for new deployments or system upgrades

    Provide in-depth trouble-shooting of IT systems

    • Foundation in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and vSphere
    • Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+)
    • Physical demands: support rack, stack, and cabling; good with lifting 40-50 lbs.

    Position Desired Skills:

    • Ansible experience is preferred

    SIE1 Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university

    Four (4) years of experience as a software integrator, tester, system administrator, or systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

    Alternatively, an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree

    A Master’s Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience

    Must be willing to travel

    Salary Range:**$117k-$143k (Annually)

    **The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
