The System Patient Access Manager position provides direct oversight of the Penn Highlands Healthcare and Hospital registrations for the system. Handles the functions of the Registration department for the system Lead and optimize patient access for operations across hospital system, ensuring efficient registration, scheduling, and revenue cycle processes while delivering an exceptional patient experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Associate's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
- Required Experience/Skills 5+ years of progressive experience in patient access or revenue cycle operations.
- 5+ years in a supervisory or management role.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, motivation; Excellent communication skills (written/Verbal); Computer skills, good reasoning ability, good organizational skills, multi-tasking, flexibility, and excellent customer service.
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification, medical terminology, and healthcare billing.
- Familiar with hospital regulations; strong problem solving, attention to detail, and stay calm under pressure.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and patient registration systems.
- Preferred Experience/Skills CHAM, CHAA, or similar certification.
- Multi-site management experience.
