Key Responsibilities
System Safety Analysis
- Perform Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA) for aircraft systems and subsystems.
- Develop and maintain Preliminary System Safety Assessments (PSSA).
- Conduct System Safety Assessments (SSA) to verify compliance with allocated safety requirements.
- Support aircraft certification activities related to safety assessments.
Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
- Develop qualitative and quantitative Fault Tree Analyses for hazardous and catastrophic failure conditions.
- Identify top events and decompose failure paths using logical AND/OR gates.
- Generate and evaluate Minimal Cut Sets (MCS).
- Calculate system failure probabilities using reliability data.
- Assess failure combinations, latent failures, and loss-of-function scenarios.
