Description

System/Software EngineerProvide hands-on end user support, administration, installation and issue resolution for GxP controlled laboratory equipment, servers, desktops and software packages. Perform laboratory upgrades (software, desktop components, etc…), create system documentation and author/execute test scripts as needed.Role is part of the IT group, deliver work to QCMinimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology (or equivalent)5-7 years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical laboratory industry experience.Must have IT s/w deployment experience.Know how to add computers to network and active directoryLab Instrument (3 years' experience, support validation deliverable, Lock down permission, restrict and grant access. Troubleshooting exp.Qualified candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of server / application administration, laboratory equipment, network concepts, and GMP validation best practices.Experience with Citrix administration, database administration, application development / scripting is a plus.Must have the ability to troubleshoot complex problems involving multiple technologies and develop solutions.Must have strong written, communication and customer service skills.Author - IQ, system configuration, risk assessment and user validation (GAAP module IQ & risk)
