Job Description 

We are is seeking a highly motivated System Software Programmer – Consultant to support the Child Support Services Applications Team. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise applications supporting the Child Support Services Division, including PACSS, SDNH, and Client Portal applications. The selected candidate will function as a SQL Database Administrator and Senior Developer responsible for database integrations, reporting, data warehousing, interface development, and enterprise-scale application support using the Microsoft SQL Server platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise-scale web applications and database integrations
• Identify, extract, transform, and analyze data based on business requirements and governance standards
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and optimization activities
• Develop and maintain reports, vendor exports, and data warehouse solutions
• Design, test, validate, and support system interfaces and data exchange procedures
• Serve as primary contact for interface production file issues and nightly batch monitoring
• Collaborate with State and Federal partners on interface design and implementation
• Conduct code reviews, technical reviews, and logical validations
• Monitor database growth and recommend performance and scalability improvements
• Design and develop dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
• Serve as primary DBA for Child Support-related applications
• Support oversight of software development vendor activities and deliverables
• Maintain enterprise data governance, metadata, and architecture standards
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and data retention requirements
• Communicate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience as a SQL DBA
• 5+ years of experience with large system architecture
• Experience supporting large-scale production system implementations
• Experience overseeing software development vendors
• Strong experience with:
  • MS SQL Server
  • TFS (Team Foundation Server)
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2022
  • C#, ASP.NET, and/or .NET
  • PowerShell

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Child Support Enforcement system design and development
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI
