**Description** **_PeaceHealth is seeking a System VP Supply Chain in Vancouver, WA..._** The System Vice President, Supply Chain directs and leads all supply chain functions, processes, and activities across all system locations. Responsible for significant budgetary and operational authority, direction and management. Contributes to defining system strategic goals and ensures initiatives and objectives for the supply chain organization are aligned with the system's strategic goals and objectives. Oversees strategic planning and quality of the supply chain function including central supply, purchasing, receiving, supply distribution services, contracting, patient equipment services, value analysis, asset disposal and system integrity. The Sys VP Supply Chain must ensure that quality and performance improvement activities meet their target conditions. The Sys VP Supply Chain is responsible to adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards for their areas and to be continuously ready for any survey on those regulations or standards. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** 1. Implements and manages the consolidated Supply Chain infrastructure serving all PeaceHealth facilities applying current healthcare supply chain best practices and taking into account project scope, timelines, risks and costs. 2. Develops the overall supply chain strategy and plans ensuring support and achievement of PeaceHealth's strategy, vision, goals, objectives, and expectations. 3. Drives standardization, increases product quality, and improves customer service. Compliments standardization and optimal supply utilization through effective collaboration with leadership and key stakeholders across the PeaceHealth system. 4. Accountable for the development and management of service level agreements (SLAs) with operating units to ensure the effective delivery of services to the system. 5. Develops policies and procedures required to ensure the effectiveness and compliance of the Supply Chain delivery model and meet the needs and expectations of the organization. 6. Develops and manages strategic relationships with vendor base. Ensures suppliers are held accountable for meeting continuous improvement initiatives both from a strategic and tactical perspective including quality improvement, inventory management and cost reduction. 7. Manages and develops relationships with affiliates to ensure services provided meet their needs and continually develops new opportunities to enhance affiliate benefit. 8. Works collaboratively with system and local leadership to ascertain new needs, service offerings and operational efficiencies. Develops and coordinates implementation plans for same. 9. Reviews and ensures appropriate financial metrics are monitored and proper fiscal controls are in place to maximize cost savings throughout the function. 10. Performs other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** **REQUIRED EDUCATION** + Bachelor's Degree + Master's Degree or a combination of education and professional experience that provides the caregiver with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the job. **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE** + Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience. + Experience in a healthcare organization. + Minimum of 8 years of experience leading supply chain operations in a healthcare setting, with system level experience across multiple sites. **REQUIRED SKILLS** + Success working in a highly matrixed organization. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization. + Ability to think strategically and implement locally across various settings of care. + Able to challenge and hold others accountable for performance. + A systems thinker, ability to lead change in a complex environment. + Must have the ability to form collaborative relationships, both within the organization and in the community. + Possesses ability to facilitate resolution of conflicts and grievances, handling highly charged problems and situations in a calm and objective manner. + Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is **$321,000 - $435,700** .
