Job Description:

The client is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator Advanced to design, administer, secure, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience with Windows and Linux server administration, AWS and Azure cloud platforms, Azure DevOps, enterprise networking, infrastructure automation, middleware technologies, and performance optimization. This role requires supporting highly available enterprise environments, implementing cloud infrastructure solutions, managing DevOps processes, and ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, administer, maintain, and expand enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
• Coordinate server configuration, deployment, and administration with internal teams and third-party vendors
• Recommend hardware, software, infrastructure, and cloud platform upgrades
• Monitor enterprise systems and applications to ensure security, availability, reliability, and optimal performance
• Evaluate and optimize network performance, including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux server environments
• Configure firewalls, networking components, DNS, security policies, and infrastructure services
• Perform systems monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and root cause analysis
• Escalate infrastructure and vendor-related issues when required
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across infrastructure, development, and business teams
• Create and manage Azure DevOps Projects, Git repositories, and CI/CD pipelines
• Configure Azure DevOps organizational settings and deployment environments
• Support enterprise application hosting, deployments, and cloud infrastructure administration across AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Provide infrastructure and DevOps support to development teams and enterprise applications

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support enterprise infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation initiatives
• Implement automation solutions to reduce manual administrative tasks
• Manage enterprise cloud networking, connectivity, and security configurations
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, operational procedures, and technical standards
• Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability planning
• Support middleware technologies including API Management, IT Service Automation, and Batch Processing Services
• Research, evaluate, and implement innovative infrastructure technologies and best practices

Required Skills:

• Minimum 14 years of overall Information Technology experience
• 58 years of Information Systems Engineering or related experience
• 35 years of infrastructure, systems operations, administration, and network support experience
• Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022 administration
• IIS Administration
• Strong AWS cloud administration experience
• Microsoft Azure cloud administration experience
• Linux administration (Red Hat and Ubuntu), including patching and system maintenance
• Azure DevOps Projects, Git repositories, Pipelines, and organizational administration
• Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, Samba/CIFS, NTFS permissions, and Firewalls
• Experience supporting API Management, IT Service Automation, and Batch Processing Services
• Cloud infrastructure, network architecture, and enterprise application hosting expertise
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

• Proven experience supporting enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, infrastructure security, and enterprise administration
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced enterprise environments
• Excellent analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams
• Strong customer service and communication abilities

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered
