About the Role:

The client is seeking an Advanced Systems Administrator to support enterprise server environments and Azure cloud infrastructure. This senior-level, onsite role in Tallahassee, Florida, starting July 1, 2026, focuses on Active Directory management, system reliability, and cloud optimization, while contributing to process improvements and automation.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (onsite).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to enterprise servers and Active Directory environments.
  • Manage and maintain the lifecycle of Windows server operating systems.
  • Design, organize, and maintain Active Directory structures, including OUs and Group Policies.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to AD processes and Group Policy configurations.
  • Support and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Implement automation and enhancements using scripting and best practices.
  • Ensure high availability, continuity, and security of enterprise systems.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations on cloud readiness and infrastructure modernization.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams and provide knowledge transfer when needed.
  • Produce status reports and maintain documentation of tasks and solutions.
  • Follow organizational standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Complete all required training and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Required Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Active Directory administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cloud Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure core services.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of virtual networking and security protocols.
  • Experience with cost management and optimization in cloud environments.
  • Certifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.

Salary:

Pay Rate: $56.00 per hour (Annual Salary: $116,480)
