    Description

    Position Overview

    MetroSys is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to support and manage infrastructure across a diverse client base. This role focuses on maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise systems while delivering high-quality support in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

    The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple environments, with strong experience in Microsoft technologies, infrastructure operations, and troubleshooting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Administer and support Windows Server environments, endpoints, and core infrastructure systems across multiple clients
    • Manage Active Directory / Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
    • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across servers, endpoints, and networks
    • Apply patching, updates, and security configurations to maintain system integrity and compliance
    • Support Azure environments and assist with Microsoft 365 configuration and optimization
    • Assist with or lead infrastructure projects, including server deployments, upgrades, and M365 implementations
    • Troubleshoot issues across LAN, wireless, voice, and endpoint devices
    • Support deployment of new hardware, applications, and automation solutions
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and runbooks
    • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve issues and deliver solutions effectively
    • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders
    • Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed

    Required Qualifications

    • 3–6+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure support
    • Strong experience with:
      • Windows Server environments
      • Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
      • Azure / Entra ID
    • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
    • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and endpoint environments
    • Experience working in client-facing or multi-environment roles
    • Proficiency with PowerShell or other scripting tools is preferred
    • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
