Job Description:

We are seeking a technically capable Systems Administrator with hands-on Collibra experience to support the organization's data governance platforms and enterprise systems environment. This role will focus on day-to-day administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of Collibra and related data governance technologies.

The ideal candidate will have practical Collibra configuration experience and a strong technical foundation. This is not an end-user or data steward position. The successful candidate should understand how enterprise systems work, be comfortable learning new technologies, and have the ability to troubleshoot issues and complete technical tasks with limited supervision.

The role will work closely with senior technical resources and business stakeholders to support data governance initiatives, sensitive-data discovery, system administration, and integrations across the organization.

Required Skills:

" 2+ years of experience in systems administration, application support, data governance technology, or a related technical role

" Hands-on experience configuring and administering Collibra

" Experience working with Collibra asset models, workflows, Business Glossary, Data Catalog, or related platform capabilities

" Understanding of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, data classification, and data quality concepts

" Experience supporting enterprise applications and troubleshooting technical issues

" Experience working with structured data sources such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server

" Familiarity with sensitive-data discovery, scanning, or classification tools such as BigID, Imperva, or comparable platforms

" Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, web services, or middleware concepts

" Basic scripting or development experience using Python, Java, PowerShell, or a similar language

" Ability to work with Linux systems, including logging into servers, navigating the command line, reviewing logs, and executing basic Linux commands

" Experience troubleshooting application configuration, connectivity, permissions, and integration issues

" Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research unfamiliar technologies and determine appropriate solutions

" Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate technical documentation

" Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior technical resources, business stakeholders, and other technology teams

Bonus/Soft Skills:

" Collibra Ranger certification or active progress toward certification

" Experience with BigID, Imperva, or other data sensitivity scanning platforms

" Experience with Collibra APIs or workflow configuration

" Experience with Python-based integrations or automation

" Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Box, email, file shares, or other unstructured data sources

" Experience with REST APIs, JSON, middleware, or enterprise application integrations

" Experience with Git or other source control platforms

" Experience working in a banking or financial services environment

" Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

" Strong communication and documentation skills

" Ability to learn new systems quickly and take ownership of assigned technical work

" Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
