SUMMARY
The Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, security, and daily operation of the University's enterprise information systems and supporting infrastructure. This position ensures the reliability, performance, and security of server environments and enterprise applications, including the University's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and related services.
The Systems Administrator works closely with IT staff, university departments, and system vendors to support the effective use of enterprise systems, troubleshoot operational issues, and maintain system availability. This position also supports disaster recovery planning, system monitoring, and implementation of security best practices to protect institutional data and services.
The Systems Administrator performs additional duties as assigned by the IT Director / CIO and the Assistant IT Director / DCIO.

Safety: Employee works safely, attends safety training offered/required, and follows appropriate safety rules and regulations. In relation to level of NIMs training completed, participates in incident management preparation and performs incident duties as assigned.
