MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor's Degree in the field of computer science or equivalent work experience.

2 - 3 years' experience in System Administration.

3 or more years' experience with MCSA or MCITP.

3 or more years' experience with data management.

3 or more years' experience working in a team-oriented.

3 or more years' experience with collaborative environment.

Knowledge VMware, Azure Cloud Services, and Windows server environment.

Knowledge, skills and abilities knowledge of TCP/IP stacks and their functionality.

Working knowledge of web application security, understanding of vulnerabilities and countermeasures.

Valid Driver's License (subject to motor vehicle record review)


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

Performs system management for enterprise servers and host systems; manages 50+ servers in active directory environment, ensuring that each server has 100% uptime.

Maintains and monitors system performances using diagnostics and server management software, monitor system logs and activities on all servers and devices.

Analyses system configuration and complies statistics for performance benchmarks; troubleshoots problems with networks, web services, mail services and overall aspects of ASP solution.

Maintains system flowcharts, documentation, procedures and hardware inventories.

Plans, designs, and coordinates the installation of system software and hardware; Coordinate with other IT departments to schedule releases of software updates.

Performs operating systems upgrades and manages upgrades of applications software. Maintains a broad knowledge of operating systems, software and hardware. Research new developments in system hardware and software. Manage and administrate all operating systems and their corresponding or associated software.

Designs and implements security management system for all servers and host configuration assuring that each system is protected from intrusion of software and hardware.

Communication with service and maintenance entitles to determine the cause of system equipment failure and applies repairs and fixes.

Deploy and maintain firewalls and all host security activities.

Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the servers.

Install, configure and manage printer systems.

Design and implement disaster recovery plan for operating systems, databases, networks, servers, and software applications.

Provide on-call technical support. Provides technical assistance and training to other department staff.

Analyze system and application usage and plan for growth or increases in system capacity.

Assess needs for any system reconfigurations (minor or significant) and execute them if required.

Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure software products and services.

Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures for system administration and appropriate use.

Establish service level agreements with end users.

Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

Perform network security audits and system backups.

Monitor and test server software performance and provide statistical reports.

Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements, upgrades, and purchases.

Attend and actively participate in division and department meetings.

Submit various reports such as monthly report. Weekly report and outage report.

Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
