IDR is seeking a Systems Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Grapevine, TX. This role is part of a dynamic IT team supporting enterprise-level infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. The organization is dedicated to innovative solutions that support their global operations and mission-critical systems.
Position Overview for the Systems Administrator:
- Manage and support enterprise-wide Windows Server environments, including patching, automation, and security updates.
- Oversee network infrastructure including VPNs, VLANs, and firewall configurations to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
- Administer virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and manage enterprise storage solutions like SAN/NAS systems.
- Implement high-availability designs and continuously improve system resilience and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security, compliance, and operational excellence across global IT systems.
Requirements for the Systems Administrator:
- 5+ years of enterprise systems administration experience supporting Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
- Advanced Windows Server patch management and automation expertise (powershell preferred).
- Strong networking engineering experience with VPNs, VLANs, and firewall administration.
- Hands-on experience with Hyper-V virtualization and SAN/NAS storage.
- Expertise in infrastructure security and compliance, with Palo Alto experience preferred.
