IDR is seeking a Systems Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, TX . In this role, you will support enterprise telecommunications, unified communications, and contact center operations in a fast-paced environment. Youll partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure reliable communication services while contributing to continuous improvements in service delivery.
Position Overview for the Systems Administrator:
- Provide day-to-day administration and support for corporate telephony and unified communications services, including adds, moves, changes, and user support.
- Administer and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), including user provisioning, device configuration, calling permissions, and system upkeep.
- Support Cisco Unity voicemail services through mailbox management, call handler configuration, troubleshooting, and end-user assistance.
- Administer and support NICE CXone, including account management, profile maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with support resources.
- Document incidents and service requests in the ticketing system, coordinate with vendors/internal teams, and contribute to operational and process improvements (including use of AI-assisted tools).
Requirements for the Systems Administrator:
- Associate degree, technical certification, trade school training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supporting telecommunications, telephony, unified communications, or contact center technologies in a business environment
- Experience administering or supporting Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Unity voicemail systems
- Working knowledge of NICE CXone administration and support functions
- Basic understanding of AI interfaces and AI-assisted productivity tools
