Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, proactively identifying and resolving connectivity issues across LAN/WAN, VPN, and hybrid cloud environments
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to assess business and technical requirements, recommending and implementing effective technology solutions
Support and administer virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS), including provisioning, scaling, and performance tuning
Perform systems administration duties across Windows and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, patching, and ongoing maintenance
Manage Active Directory and/or Azure AD, including user provisioning, group policy management, and access controls
Oversee server infrastructure, including upgrades, migrations, backups, and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity
Maintain system security by applying patches, managing endpoint protection, and adhering to best practices for hardening and compliance
Requirements:
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing/switching
Experience managing firewalls, wireless networks, and implementing network security best practices
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve network and system performance issues across diverse environments
Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and/or Hyper-V
Working knowledge of cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
Systems administration experience supporting Windows servers, including configuration, patching, and maintenance
Experience with Active Directory and/or Azure AD, including user provisioning and access management
Familiarity with backup solutions, disaster recovery processes, and overall infrastructure reliability
Understanding of security principles, including system hardening, patch management, and endpoint protection
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
