This position will maintain all administrative and support systems related to Level 1 and Level 2 for all areas encompassed by Melt Shop Automation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Ensure Safety, Environmental, Quality requirements and "where applicable" ResponsibleSteel requirements are followed.
2) Maintain the Melt Shop's Automation / Camera Networks and Adaptive Security Appliances.
3) Assist in maintaining the Melt Shop's Active Directory.
4) Monitors Anti-Virus and Veaam Disaster Recovery Systems.
5) Monitors NAS and Hypervisors.
6) Proactively monitors cyber security threats and prevention initiatives.
7) Collaborate closely with Melt Shop personnel, IT and Cybersecurity.
8) Monitors daily PLC Backup systems. 9) Serves as an emergency resource for Level 1 issues.
Qualifications:
1) Demonstrate safety focus and willingness to proactively apply it in a team environment.
2) Quality and detail oriented with superior problem solving and communication skills.
3) Highly motivated, self-directed, hands-on approach and willing to put in extra hours or on-call support.
4) Minimum 5 years of electrical / automation experience in the metals industry.
5) Minimum 2 years of server and networking experience in an OT environment.
6) Experience with Cisco 9200 / 9300 and Nexus switches. Must have the ability to configure and troubleshoot: VLANS, EtherChannel, Port-Security, Stackwise-Virtual, Access Control Lists, DHCP Pools, DHCP Snooping, AAA / RADIUS, Dynamic Routing Tables, IPSLA and OSPF.
7) Ability to program Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances: Setup Layer 3 interfaces, add network objects / groups, analyze intrusion prevention logs, solid understanding of TCP/UDP ports.
8) Experience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Hyper-V Virtualization: Must be able to set up ILO / IDRAC, commission servers, create virtual machines / maintain replication, familiarity with RAID.
9) Experience monitoring Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and the Live Update Administrator.
10) Knowledge of Veeam Disastory Recovery Software: Create repositories, schedule backups, monitor logs, and perform system recoveries.
11) Experience with Network Attached Storage arrays and troubleshooting.
12) Must have experience maintaining Domain Controllers, Users, Computers, Group Policies, and RADIUS.
13) Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix / CompactLogix platforms: Basic programming skills, understanding of RSLinx and network bridging.
14) Knowledge of ibaPDA and ibaHD data collection systems.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Most day-to-day activities will take place in an office or MCC room. The production environment is typical of a steel mill production area, with extreme temperatures, high noise levels, and dusty/greasy areas. Scheduled work hours are day shift Monday through Friday. This is not a remote work position.
