Description

POSITION: Systems Administrator - I Summary: The full-time, on-site Systems Administrator Tier 1 opportunity at Bell Ambulance provides essential first-contact support to our infrastructure. Operating at an entry-level scope, this role focuses on handling routine tasks and triaging issues to ensure systems operate smoothly. This position, in cooperation with other IT and Bell staff, allows our EMS crews to provide the highest level of emergent care while operating as the largest provider of ambulance services in the State of Wisconsin. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Serve as the primary first contact for support, effectively managing routine tasks and triaging technical issues. Handle Help Desk tickets for common user problems, such as login difficulties, application issues, and basic troubleshooting. Monitor Auvik and other alerting applications to maintain system health, and strategically escalate complex issues as needed. Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Daily Maintenance (DM) tasks across the IT infrastructure. Create and accurately modify user accounts to support onboarding and role changes. Provision and prepare hardware for end-users, including Chromebooks, Windows Workstations, and Macs. Help manage and maintain the internal Knowledge Base (KB) and IT documentation to ensure accurate records. Assist the senior IT team in deploying system patching and conducting active threat scans. Qualification/Requirements: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in a help desk, IT support, or junior systems administration role. Efficient problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Reliable transportation required. IT certifications such as CompTIA A, Network, or Microsoft certifications are a bonus.
