Annual Salary: $85,000 - $110,000



Position

As a System Administrator III, you will oversee Azure infrastructure, optimize resources, and stay updated on new services and features. You will develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, conduct regular security audits, and lead strategic planning for infrastructure upgrades. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing vendor relationships, and providing advanced technical support for complex issues.

Admin will:

Azure Management: Oversee Azure infrastructure, optimize resources, and stay updated on new services and features. Administer Azure Active Directory (AAD) and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM). Manage subscriptions and cost-effectiveness
Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans. Conduct backup/restoration procedures for critical data. Ensure minimal downtime during recovery
Certifications: Maintain advanced certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, MCSE: Core Infrastructure, RHCE, or equivalent
Coding/Scripting: Create and maintain complex automation scripts and tools. Optimize scripting for system administration and monitoring
Communication: Articulate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Lead presentations and system reviews
Documentation: Document technical processes, create system reports, and maintain ongoing upgrade records. Establish standards for organizational documentation
Infrastructure Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain switches, firewalls, and Wireless Access Points (WAPs). Administer VM Hosts, Windows VM servers, and optimize virtual environments. Oversee backups and disaster recovery plans
Interpersonal Skills: Manage conflict, foster collaboration, and influence decision-making across the organization
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Utilize monitoring tools for proactive issue identification. Respond to system outages, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Network Infrastructure: Configure, monitor, and maintain network switches. Implement and manage firewalls for network security
Ownership: Drive organizational IT initiatives, take accountability for results, and ensure continuous improvement in operations
Planning: Lead strategic planning for infrastructure upgrades, capacity management, and disaster recovery. Develop comprehensive task lists for large-scale IT projects
Security, Compliance, and Endpoint Management: Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Implement security best practices across infrastructure. Utilize Microsoft Intune for endpoint management. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Storage Management: Administer storage arrays, including SAN/NAS configurations (iSCSI, LUNs, NFS). Monitor replication and implement redundancy. Optimize RAID setups for high performance
Team Management: Lead cross-functional teams, manage performance, and create an environment of accountability and collaboration
Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support for complex issues. Lead in resolving server-related software problems. Integrate new applications and services seamlessly
Virtualization: Administer VM Hosts, optimize VM performance, and configure/administer Windows VM servers. Conduct regular backups and ensure disaster recovery plans
Vendor Management: Lead vendor management, strategic evaluation, oversee communications, strategic cost management, and advanced risk management
Ticket Support: Handle 10% of tickets

Preferred Qualifications:

Expert Azure management (AAD, IAM, PAM)
Complex automation scripting and tool creation
Comprehensive network management (switches, firewalls, WAPs)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Regular security audits and compliance management

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (Master's preferred).

Certificates

Advanced certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, MCSE: Core Infrastructure, RHCE, or equivalent.

Pay

SEKISUI Aerospace is required by Washington law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Washington resident. Pay ranges may be higher or lower for non-resident WA employees, based on the market data for their region, allowing us to pay employees competitively in different geographic markets.
