Systems Administrator

PSG is seeking an individual with IT Systems Engineering & Administrative experience with Windows and Linux environments. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for the operating systems and their successful integration with the hardware and applications software across the enterprise.Your responsibilities will include the following:• Plans, tests, installs, and integrate new and upgraded versions of the relevant operating systems, third-party software components, and subsystems• Proactively monitors and manages system resources to optimize operating efficiency and performance• Performs troubleshooting and diagnosing and correction of problemsMinimum qualifications:TS/SCI with adjudicated FSP required prior to startMust have one of the following customer-approved security certifications:Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CASPSystems Administrator performing system security administration functions; managing customer accounts via Active Directory; troubleshooting and diagnosing and correction of problems; plans, tests, installs, and integrate new and upgraded versions of the relevant operating systems, third party software components, and subsystems; monitors and manages system resources to optimize operating efficiency and performance; custom software installation and maintenance.Experience with Windows Active Directory, Windows Server administration, monitoring and configuration tools, VMWare, storage solutions, and cross domain solutionsExperience with SCCM (Systems Center Configuration Management) and SCOM (Systems Center Operations Manager)Desired Skills:• VMware• Good analytical and troubleshooting capabilities• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills (written and oral)• Hardware• Helpdesk
