We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst 3 to support a Texas state agency in Austin. This role will support the continued development of a data integration hub within a performance management and analytics environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter or IICS, complex SQL development, data integration, analytics systems, and agile SDLC practices.

What You’ ll Do
  • Analyze business objectives, user requirements, procedures, and system needs
  • Support design, development, implementation, and enhancement of a data integration hub
  • Develop complex SQL scripts, views, and materialized views
  • Automate ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS
  • Acquire and integrate data from multiple sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and PDFs
  • Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders
  • Create epics, user stories, tasks, mockups, documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications
  • Support integration, load, stress, verification, and validation testing
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and agile development activities
  • Assist with data acquisition strategies, system design, and implementation planning

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience developing mappings and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS
  • 8+ years of experience acquiring and integrating data from multiple sources
  • 8+ years of experience designing and developing complex Snowflake SQL scripts
  • 8+ years of systems analysis experience in data analytics, performance management, or data warehousing
  • 8+ years of technical writing and diagramming experience
  • Experience with modeling and mapping tools such as Visio or Erwin
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project
  • Experience planning and delivering software platforms across multiple products or business units
  • Ability to write well-designed, testable, and efficient code

Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile sprint team experience
  • Healthcare, HHS, PII, or PHI data experience
  • Python scripting experience
  • JIRA experience
  • Web services experience including REST or SOAP
  • Java or JavaScript experience
  • CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
  • Mulesoft development experience
  • Experience with AI tools such as Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake Intelligence, or Informatica Claire
  • Bachelor’ s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience
