Work Environment:

• Supports a statewide ERP program serving a large network of government agencies.
• Focused on PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Time & Labor, HR/Payroll, Recruit, Financials, and related systems.
• Senior-level consultant role requiring deep functional and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Time & Labor (T&L) module subject matter expert.
• Perform configuration, maintenance, production support, troubleshooting, and enhancement activities.
• Configure and maintain:
  • TRCs
  • Programs
  • Workgroups
  • ORCs
  • Task Profiles and Task Groups
  • Schedules
  • Value Lists
  • Security Groups
  • T&L Rules and Rule Programs
• Lead Fluid Timesheet implementation, configuration, testing, security, training, and support.
• Monitor and support batch processing and job scheduling activities.
• Review and create Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
• Provide Tier-2 support and coordinate with Tier-3 managed services teams.
• Support fiscal year-end activities, leave liability processing, and emergency leave reporting.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing, audits, major incident management, upgrades, and releases.
• Deliver executive presentations, user training, and cross-functional coordination.

• 15+ years:
  • State government policy knowledge
  • System configuration
  • PeopleSoft technical tools (Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQL, SQR, BI Publisher, etc.)
• 12+ years:
  • Security best practices, NIST standards, multi-tenancy
• 10+ years:
  • Supporting PeopleSoft Time & Labor in HCM 9.2
  • Supporting 30+ government agencies
  • Strategic roadmap planning
  • Batch job oversight
  • PUM, Fluid, Elasticsearch
  • Functional project management
  • Tier-2 support environments
  • Major incident management
  • Disaster recovery exercises
  • Executive presentations
  • Audit and records-request support
  • Vendor and contract management
• 7+ years:
  • Statewide fiscal year-end coordination
• 5+ years:
  • Fluid Timesheet subject matter expertise
• 3+ years:
  • ITIL/ITSM/ITAM practices

Preferred:

• Experience supporting statewide legacy financial systems.
• Prior experience maintaining synchronization between CAPPS and SPRS through SQL activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Senior PeopleSoft HCM Time & Labor functional/technical consultant.
• Extensive Texas state government ERP experience.
• Strong combination of functional configuration, technical troubleshooting, security, operations support, project leadership, and statewide stakeholder management.
• Experience supporting large multi-agency ERP environments with complex compliance and audit requirements.

Overall Seniority Level:

• Very senior specialist/lead consultant (15+ years experience expected). This is effectively a statewide ERP Time & Labor lead role combining functional leadership, technical expertise, operations support, and project coordination.
