JOB SUMMARY
The person in this role will have a primary responsibility of a desktop technician supporting users in a corporate office in a field location. This includes supporting end user devices in all environments, conference room support, inventory management and onboarding new hires. This role may require some travel as required. Perform incident management related to IT infrastructure and support. Perform tasks necessary to ensure reliable infrastructure for business applications.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
+ Triage and diagnose user issues which cannot be resolved on the service desk
+ Mentor Tier I personnel during problem analysis to improve efficiency of problem resolution and overall knowledge of Service Desk staff
+ Assemble and install servers and other equipment within the data center
+ Complete tasks assigned in order to accomplish approved application and/or infrastructure change controls
+ Collaborate with other IT personnel on technology and support issues
+ Collaborate with applications and infrastructure personnel on new initiatives and the impacts they will have on infrastructure
Education
+ Bachelor's Degree in computer sciences, other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience
