We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst III with strong Scrum Master capabilities to support a Texas state agency in Austin. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can operate independently, lead Agile teams, and drive delivery across complex enterprise initiatives.
What You’ ll Do
• Analyze business objectives, user requirements, and system capabilities
• Identify solutions and perform cost/benefit analysis of alternatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational procedures and system needs
• Develop detailed documentation including requirements, workflows, and system specifications
• Evaluate feasibility of system enhancements within existing environments
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Serve as a Scrum Master, supporting Agile delivery and high-performing teams
• Coach teams on Agile best practices, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Remove impediments and ensure alignment with program goals
• Support reporting on sprint progress, velocity, and delivery metrics
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile teams
• 8+ years facilitating Agile ceremonies and delivery processes
• Proven ability to identify, track, and remove delivery impediments
• Strong experience coaching teams on Agile principles and self-organization
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira
• Ability to report on sprint metrics and team performance
• Experience working on large-scale or enterprise IT initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting state or government technology projects
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
