Systems and Data Analyst:SAP GTS Functional Analyst
Pay Rate: $80/hr
Location: Seattle, WA – Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week)
Additional Locations: Chandler, AZ; Dallas, TX; Long Beach, CA; Miami, FL; St. Louis, MO
Schedule: Full-time, 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Duration: 6 Months (possible extension)
Travel: Possible domestic travel up to 5%
We are seeking an experienced SAP GTS Functional Analyst to join our Functional team. This role focuses on the implementation and support of SAP projects leveraging S/4HANA technology, with a strong emphasis on SAP Transportation Management (TM). The ideal candidate will bring hands-on project delivery experience, deep SAP TM configuration expertise, and the ability to collaborate across business, solution architecture, and development teams.
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Perform fit-gap analysis and identify required custom developments.
Deliver SAP TM process solutions, including:
Advanced Shipping & Receiving with EWM integration
O2C and P2P integration
Transportation planning and optimization
GTS and EHS integration
TM integration with third-party systems and transportation reporting
Lead the design and implementation of best-practice business processes in full lifecycle SAP TM projects.
Document requirements, configure systems, localize processes, and prepare functional/technical specifications.
Develop test scripts, training content, and process documentation in collaboration with business and technical teams.
Resolve issues and ensure smooth execution by working with business stakeholders and technical support teams.
Participate in cutover, go-live, and hyper-care activities.
Enhance TM Business Objects and customize freight order FPM screens.
Provide user training and mentor team members as needed.
8–12 years of hands-on SAP Transportation Management experience with strong configuration expertise.
Proven success delivering custom SAP TM solutions supporting logistics and transportation functions.
Deep knowledge of transportation planning, optimization, rate maintenance, freight costs, load tendering, and reporting.
Proficiency in:
Order Management
Transportation Planning & Execution
Freight Execution (carrier selection, tendering, cost distribution, event tracking & monitoring)
Settlement (charge management, calculations, freight settlement with cost distribution)
Strong understanding of SAP TM organizational elements, master data, and structural requirements.
Cross-functional integration expertise with SAP SD, MM, EWM, GTS, and EHS, backed by at least two SAP implementation projects.
Exposure to shipper scenarios across all transport modes (road, air, rail, and ocean).
Familiarity with ABAP and BOPF.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Hands-on experience in at least two full-cycle SAP TM implementations.
Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years of relevant experience, OR
Master's degree plus 4+ years of experience, OR
Equivalent combination of education and 10+ years of industry experience.
