Summary: 

• Performs production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

• Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.

• Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.

• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

• May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies.

• Works with blueprints, changes, specifications, and work orders to assemble and install parts and assemblies to quality requirements.

• Completes required data gathering transactions to facilitate assembly progression.

• Sets up and performs manual and automated assembly operations and portable machine functions.

• Performs pickup, rework, fabrication, change incorporation, functional testing or check during or after final assembly.

• Uses precision measuring instruments required to accomplish work assignments.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• 2-4 years of experience in production assembly operations.

• 2 years' minimum experience in aviation production or equivalent.

• Previous experience with drilling tools, templates, drilling machines, fasteners, and torquing tools.

• Ability to work with blueprints, changes, specifications, and work orders to assemble and install parts and assemblies.

• Ability to use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.

• Ability to make continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.

• Ability to perform quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

• Ability to use precision measuring instruments.

• High School Diploma/GED or WorkKeys Assessment completion.
