Description
West Sound Workforce is partnering with a respected healthcare system in Kitsap County to recruit a Systems Assistant to support their facilities operations team. This organization is known for delivering compassionate, high-quality care throughout the Puget Sound region and is deeply committed to improving community health and the patient experience through reliable, well-run support services.
The Systems Assistant plays a key role in maintaining the systems and workflows that keep facilities operations running smoothly. This position supports day-to-day coordination through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), helping ensure maintenance activities, reporting, and administrative processes remain accurate, timely, and well-organized across the department.
Ideal candidates have experience supporting purchasing or inventory functions and are comfortable interpreting vendor documentation and service agreements. They are also confident researching and sourcing parts and supplies with accuracy and cost awareness.
Shift information:
Full time 7 am – 3:30 pm

What you’ll do:
Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to enter, track, schedule, and report on maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance activities
Coordinate and assign work orders to Facilities staff, ensuring timely completion and accurate workflow tracking
Order, receive, and manage parts, supplies, and equipment while maintaining accurate records and inventory support
Review vendor invoices and interpret service agreements and contracts to ensure accuracy prior to payment processing
Research, source, and procure materials and supplies in a cost-effective manner while supporting strong vendor relationships and departmental needs
What we are looking for:
3+ years of related experience in administrative support, facilities operations, purchasing, or systems coordination
Experience working with computer systems, databases, or maintenance management platforms (CMMS experience preferred)
Working knowledge of purchasing practices, vendor coordination, and basic contract or service agreement interpretation
Ability to research, source, and accurately order parts and supplies with strong attention to detail and cost awareness
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external partners
