--- Project Description ---
The person in this systems developer position will enhance the ASAP
(Adult Services Automation Project) system, as requested by Division
of Child Welfare; Bureau of Adult Services, required to comply with the
2024 Federal Client Rule, including creating a separate system to
archive and query archived ASAP data. The following are the expected
enhancements: Service Plans expanded to include date/initial stamp for
every change or update, including adding specific services, ability to
make updates throughout the case, additional comments sections,
additional summary section; add a system generated Person ID for
each client, integration with document system, ability for district to
upload custom county letterhead, enhance search features, integrate
with new separate 24/7 Intakes system, allow workers to review, accept
or reject intakes, create security features to allow for sensitive cases
with special permissions, enhanced perpetrator identification,
demographics, and detailed findings features, allow cases to be
assigned to multiple districts, add methods for notifying source of case
outcomes, create Financial Exploitation tools, create method for
handling Preventative cases, enhance Guardianship functionality,
enhance case & dashboard printing capabilities. This developer will
also handle end user incidents, technological/environmental upgrades,
as needed.
--- Day-to-Day Tasks ---
1. 1.Work independently on requirements gathering, analysis,
documenting logical design and functional design.
2. 2.Perform intricate VB.Net development and deployment.
3. 3.Oracle PL/SQL programming.
4. 4. Maintain system currency and compliance with ITS standards,
hardware, software and security practices.
5. 5.Perform unit testing and correct all identified bugs.
6. 6.System troubleshooting and maintenance.
7. 7.Process Help Desk tickets and service requests for its 1200 users
statewide..
8. 8.Coordinate and assist Cognos team with report requests.
--- Required Qualifications ---
• 84 months experience developing N-Tier .net web applications utilizing
VB.Net and/or C# 2.0 or above.
• 84 months experience with relational database design & deployment of
sophisticated SQL objects, writing PL/SQL writing packages, XML type stored
procedures and triggers, all in an Oracle environment.
• 84 months experience writing and developing Web Services or Windows
Communication Foundation (WCF).
• 84 months packaging, coordinating and deploying code base through
environments including production.
• 84 months experience working directly with customers to identify their
business processes, rules, and understand application user requirements
and issues.
• 84 months experience utilizing JQuery.
• 84 months experience with Team Foundation Server.
• 84 months experience in writing test plans & cases and performing unit
testing & leading UAT testing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Programming.
