Systems Developer (.NET)

Job Description: Seeking an experienced Systems Developer to support enterprise .NET and Oracle application development initiatives for mission-critical juvenile justice systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in .NET development, Oracle PL/SQL programming, MVC architecture, enterprise application support, and system enhancement activities. This role requires designing, developing, testing, and maintaining business-critical applications while collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to support system modernization, enhancements, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise .NET web applications and business functionality
• Design and implement application screens, workflows, and enterprise software components
• Develop complex solutions using VB.NET and C# technologies
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions
• Perform unit testing, debugging, defect remediation, and quality assurance activities
• Support technical design, system architecture, and enterprise development activities
• Assist with juvenile justice system data requests, integrations, and reporting support
• Maintain technical documentation, development standards, and operational artifacts

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in relational database design and system architecture activities
• Support deployments, production releases, and environment migration efforts
• Assist with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support initiatives
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and support cross-functional collaboration
• Follow enterprise software development standards, coding best practices, and governance procedures

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in .NET Framework, VB.NET, and C# development
• Oracle PL/SQL development including procedures, triggers, and packages
• MVC and CSLA framework experience
• Web Services and WCF integration expertise
• Relational database design and SQL development experience
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale .NET business applications
• Strong troubleshooting, testing, and system enhancement capabilities

Preferred Skills:

• Team Foundation Server (TFS) experience
• N-Tier architecture experience
• Relational database optimization and SQL tuning knowledge
• Government or public sector application experience

Qualifications:

• Experience developing enterprise .NET applications required
• Experience with Oracle database development required
• Experience supporting MVC and CSLA framework-based systems preferred
• Experience supporting mission-critical business systems required

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer-Related Field
