Description:

Come join a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 operations.

In this mission-essential help desk role, you will maintain the customer's computers and networks, support assigned customer accesses, and help ensure front-end systems continue to collect, process, and transmit information vital to national decision makers.

Position Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, to include use of the command-line
• Basic troubleshooting experience
• Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordingly

Position Desired Skills:

• Scripting experience (Bash, Shell and/or Python)
• Front-end collection systems, to include survey systems
• DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration
• Familiarity with Apache NiFi
• Basic knowledge of network protocols

SE1 Qualifications:

Seven (7) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Salary Range:$148k-$181k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
