JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer 2 - Crew Station Design & Integration
LOCATION: Everett, WA
PAY RATE: $59.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Lead component and detail design efforts, including requirements development, system documentation, and design solutions using model-based engineering and analytical tools

  • Lead cross-functional technical coordination both internally and externally with organizations including Manufacturing, Crew Operations, Airplane Safety, Supply Chain Management, BCA Systems Software, Suppliers, Airline Customers, Regulatory Agencies, and other interfacing teams

  • Identify issues, perform root cause corrective analysis, and implement corrective actions using the Boeing Problem Solving Methodology (BPSM)

  • Provide rapid support to Factory and Flight Line operations to resolve emergent issues

  • Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Specification Control Documents/Drawings (SCDs)

  • Develop system requirements and design considerations that support program objectives, including impacts to data reliability and integrity

  • Perform and support fault tree analyses (FTAs) and System Safety Analyses (SSA)

  • Lead and coordinate the translation of requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications

  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements

  • Resolve issues related to fielded hardware and software across the full product lifecycle

  • Research emerging technologies for potential application to company business needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering

  • 2+ years of related engineering work experience

  • Shift: 1st Shift

  • Schedule:

    • Start Time: 7:00 AM

    • End Time: 3:00 PM

  • Overtime: Possible (voluntary basis)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
