Systems Engineer 2 (FST - 128)

Description

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.  

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Required Skills:
Experience using Confluence and JIRA
Requirements gathering, documentation
Engauge with customer/developer regarding
Manage sprint planning and retrospective
Facilitate internal customer and team meetings
Work with customer management to communicate status, clearly identify priorities and milestones, and ensure customer requirements are met.
Work with DevOps team to ensure tasking is captured in JIRA and updated as appropriate

Desired Skills:
Understanding of or experience with Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm
Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards
Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards

Required Experience:

Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
