Job Summary: We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support and enhance manufacturing systems within a fast-paced production environment. This role will provide technical leadership, maintain legacy systems, drive system modernization initiatives, and support operational excellence through innovative engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for manufacturing systems and plant operations.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance legacy manufacturing applications.
- Lead and support implementation of new manufacturing technologies and system improvements.
- Develop and maintain SQL databases, reports, and stored procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong experience with VB6/VB.NET and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- SQL scripting, stored procedures, and database management experience.
- Experience with SQL reporting tools.
- Hands-on experience with Wonderware (AVEVA) Historian, InTouch, or MES systems.
Industry Experience: Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Process Control, or Production Systems environments.
