#LPJob Summary:
This role is responsible for managing system vulnerabilities and driving their resolution across federal agency systems. You will collaborate with various internal and external teams to ensure compliance with security standards and SLAs. The position requires technical expertise in systems engineering, vulnerability analysis, and remediation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the remediation of identified system vulnerabilities.
- Ensure timely resolution of vulnerabilities within defined service level agreements.
- Analyze vulnerabilities, assign appropriate risk ratings, and identify false positives.
- Implement process and tooling enhancements for improved vulnerability management.
- Partner with compliance and security teams to maintain high security standards.
Must-Have Skills:- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in vulnerability analysis and remediation.
- Experience with Python or Java programming.
Industry Experience:
Experience supporting US federal agencies and understanding of government compliance requirements is preferred.
