BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 5 years of experience, or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 3 years of experience.
Ability to write clear functional/technical requirements
Experience conducting integration, functional, regression, and performance testing on embedded software systems.
Proficiency with requirements-based testing and validate traceability from system requirements to test cases in IBM DOORS or equivalent RMS
Familiarity in Agile sprint planning, test iteration cycles, and DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline activities.
Strong analytical skills for root‑cause analysis and defect tracking
Effective written and verbal communication for cross‑functional collaboration
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently on defined scopes
Participate in formal reviews, walkthroughs, and audits
Collaborate with systems engineers to interpret Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), and system architecture documentation.
Must be a U.S. citizen
Active Secret Clearance

Design and lead comprehensive test strategies, including system‑level integration, performance, and compliance testing
Conduct validation activities, assess test metrics, and ensure verification results meet software requirements and stakeholder expectations
Analyze complex test data, lead root‑cause investigations, and coordinate defect remediation across cross‑functional teams
Analyze and contribute to software system designs
Understand interfaces between multiple subsystems
Develop test procedures for requirements verification and validation
Perform basic validation activities such as module‑level integration testing and regression testing
Analyze test results, log defects, and collaborate with developers for issue resolution
Work as part of an Agile team, participating in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives
Collaborate with our customers, internal NGC sites, and other technical disciplines
Participate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings
A major Aerospace company is looking for an Engineer Systems 3 to support our EA-18G Programs. As a member of the EA-18G software team you'll get to provide systems engineer support our Growler Block 1 and Growler Block 2 programs. This position will serve on-site at Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and our Northrop Grumman Camarillo, CA office.
