Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Designs and develops next generation RF and digital satellite communication systems.

• Develops and verifies multi-rate, fixed-point digital signal processing architectures.

• Allocates, defines, and verifies requirements and interfaces for communication digital payloads.

• Develops performance and link budgets for satellite communication systems.

• Conducts performance analysis of signal processing models.

• Executes payload subsystem trade studies to improve performance, cost, and schedule.

• Develops prototype demonstrations on communication subsystem testbeds.

• Plans unit-level integration and performance simulations.

• Supports ASIC and FPGA level system design and verification.

• Supports hardware procurement, design reviews, and unit sell-offs.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

• 6+ years of experience with signal processing or image processing.

• 10+ years of experience with electronic systems engineering.

• Preferred: Master's degree in signal processing or algorithm development focus.

• Preferred: Development of algorithms for hardware implementation on ASICs or FPGAs.

• Preferred: Digital Signal Processing based classes, projects, or work experience.

• Preferred: Simulink experience in work or school, and experience with Python, C++, or other languages.

• Preferred: 14+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
