Your Day-to-Day:

• Design & Develop: Work alongside experienced engineers to create system solutions that power complex networks.
• Systems Integration: Assist in integrating systems with other platforms to ensure seamless operation.
• Analysis & Testing: Perform system analysis, monitoring, and testing to guarantee high availability and reliability.
• Support & Manage: Provide support for system administration, configuration management, and network management activities.
• Upgrades & Enhancements: Participate in planning and implementing system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Collaborate: Work with the team to gather and analyze requirements for new systems and improve existing ones.
• Troubleshoot: Resolve system issues promptly to keep everything running smoothly.
• Stay Current: Keep up with the latest trends in system engineering and bring fresh ideas to the team.

What Our Client is Looking For:

Must-Haves:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with operating systems like Linux and Windows.
• Understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs).
• Experience with system administration and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Active TS/SCI-FSP clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
