Cimarron is seeking a *Systems Engineer *with a background in cybersecurity* *to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs area in Colorado.
Key Duties:
- Serve as the system engineer and administrator for a secure network enclave, acting as the primary IT technical representative.
- Support the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Respond to and resolve issues related to network functionality, availability, and technical incidents.
- Conduct operational performance analysis of systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Implement technical direction provided by the government and coordinate communication among government personnel, external stakeholders, and contractor teams.

- Active Secret Clearance.
- 4 or more years of directly related experience.
- Experience working within a Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
- Proficiency with NSX and Commvault, and the ability to configure and operate both Windows and Linux workstations.
- Background in DoD cybersecurity, including familiarity with DoD Accreditation Processes.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+) within 60 days of hire.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a comparable STEM field.
