Summary
We're seeking a Systems Engineer to bridge the gap between system administration and architecture, designing and managing advanced IT infrastructure. This role focuses on optimizing servers, storage, and network systems while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with strong technical expertise, hands-on experience with Windows/Linux environments, virtualization, and cloud platforms, and the ability to mentor others while collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex IT systems, including servers, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Support OT-related systems to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Maintain and update documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Assist in the deployment of new technologies and solutions.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all systems.
• Collaborate with Systems Administrators to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Perform regular system audits and generate reports on system health and performance.
• Interface with vendors and stakeholders to ensure optimal system functionality.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration and engineering.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies ( Azure, Hyper-V, VMware, Azure Stack).
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft Azure Administrator AZ-104).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with cloud platforms and hybrid environments.
• Exposure to automation or scripting tools ( PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Background in enterprise or OT systems management.
• Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and execution.
